DOUBLET OPAL PENDANT

This is a doublet opal made from natural crystal from Coober Pedy and backed on to ironstone from Queensland to look like expensive black opal.There is also a stunning natural Peridot to enhance the jewelery.

The stone has been bezel set which helps protect it.

The workmanship and quality is excellent.

Peridot is one of the few gemstones that occur in only one color: basically an olive green. The intensity and tint of the green however depends on how much iron is contained in the crystal structure, so the color of individual peridot gems can vary from yellow-green through olive green to brownish green.
