This is a natural Yowah opal nut that has been sliced opened and lightly faced .it was mined in the centre yowah opal field which has a good reputation for its quality opal nuts.This opal nut has a black centre.We have rubbed down app 1000 nuts and only 20 had black centres showing how rare it is, You can polish natural or some pits can be filled with super glue mixed with the host rock you get from rubbing down.
