Opal type & Origin: this is a solid black opal mined in lightning ridge. It is fully polished from front to back. Perfectly balanced for fine jewelry. Now for the opal it has a pinfire pattern with reds being the dominant color with flashes of golds and blues. Here we nick names this one the universe opal because it looks like you are looking deep into spaces wonders. A truely beautiful and very rare gem!!!
