This opal earring is from the Andamooka rainbow matrix. This is a natural stone that has been heat-treated with sugar to become black, and it looks like expensive black opal.
It is permanent, but keep away from harsh chemicals.
Heated and resin-stabilized. The resin is food-safe, so it's safe to wear.
The bail is a gold-plated base metal with cubic zirconia to enhance.
