This is an exceptional set of three solid opals, all mined in Lightning Ridge, New South Wales, Australia—the world’s most celebrated source of rare black and dark opals.
Opal One displays some of the rarest and brightest vivid red fire we’ve encountered in opal in quite some time—intense, saturated, and highly sought after by serious collectors.
Opal Two (Center Stone) features a rare rolling stripe flash pattern, highlighted by an unusual crescent-moon formation within the color play—an uncommon and visually striking natural occurrence.
Opal Three is a gray-base drop showcasing vivid green linear markings in the highly collectible Script pattern, also known as the Chinese Writing pattern—a rare and well-recognized phenomenon in Lightning Ridge opal.
All three stones are fully solid, untreated, and represent highly valued, collector-grade material with strong demand in today’s market.
A remarkable trio with museum-level pattern diversity and serious investment appeal.
Important: Please ensure payment is completed within 24 hours of the auction’s conclusion; otherwise, the item will be canceled and relisted.
