Materials used are White Cliffs Crystal inlaid into a piece of Muonionalusta Meteorite. The Muonionalusta Meteorite impacted the earth hundreds of millions of years ago near the northern Scandanavian river Muonio. This piece beautifully displays the 'Widmanstatten' pattern which is unique to Meteorites. The pattern is due to a crystal lattice formation created by millions of years of slow cooling whilst travelling through outer space. The pendant has been coated with a hard U.V resin to protect against rust. The silver bail is detachable.
