Cascarilla is Spanish for 'chaff' and this stunner has some licks of the most beautiful rainbows of the super rare chaff pattern!
Mined by our company on the Dead Horse Gully opal field of Coober Pedy Australia, this quality crystal shell opal has been made into a stunning opal doublet using hypoallergenic viterous porcelain backing with decades old tested and tried quality methods and inlaid in solid 14 karat yellow gold here at World Class Opal Australia.
The opal in this piece is valued at $600 per carat (approx 2.3 carat gem opal weight).
