This rough opal was mined by us on the Dead Horse Gully opal field of Coober Pedy Australia.

WEIGHT: 28 carats, 5.6 grams or 0 oz 4 dwt (troy) weighed dry.
These are medium to high yield rubbed pieces.
These stones should cut 15-17 carats of solids, doublets, inlay or intarsia etc.

Please check the description carefully before bidding and view your purchased rough opal wet in sunlight or in a dark room with a direct light source ie: desk lamp, down light etc. (As photographed and practiced throughout the opal industry).
