This is a natural crystal that was mined in the koriot opal field.It is rare to find clean stones with no inclusions as usually there is sand in the opal..
This crystal opalis from unique pipe like structure that is usually formed in sandstone and not ironstone. There may be some sand inclusions in the stone which is natural as that is how they have formed. The pipes may be several centimeters in diameter and can be hollow or opal filled. They can be found in knotted masses. There formation is possibly joint controlled or they may be from zones high permeability with in the sand stone that acted as a channel for water flow.
Transulant stone.

BOULDER MAGIC is run by Paul Sedawie of Seda Opals.The Seda Opal company was incorporated in 1994. The owner Paul Sedawie is the current president of the OPAL ASSOCIATION INC. S
We did have a retail shop at the gold coast opal and gem centre on the gold coast but we closed it down.
The business is mainly wholesale and it is through this site that we can bring the Opal fields and the bargains direct to you. Paul Sedawie started mining at the Four mile field in Lightning Ridge in 1986 with his first partner Bob Young. It took them 6 months to find a decent stone and this experience gave me a healthy respect for the stone and how hard it is to find. t. We use mainly Australia post as it has a excellent reputation for delivery to most parts of the world. I don't do any active mining now but my eldest son Peter Sedawie has taken over. This leaves me free to travel to any opal field and to enjoy the beauty of this magnificent stone. We hope you enjoy our stock and good luck with your biding
