This is rare natural white opal mined in andamooka. This is special opal you don’t see much of anymore. It’s gem quality and comes from a field in andamooka called “Christmas field”
This type of opal is some of the strongest most stable opal in the world. The opal field it comes from puts out white based opal vibrant red gem fire that has a full spectrum of neon colors and very unique opal patterns
This is the last of the cut stones, and unfortunately no more of this material has been found in Christmas field since this last pocket of rare red gem opal....
