Folks here is a very nice Nobby from the `ridge that was split in two as you can see.
If you look closely, you can see thre is a blue green band of color that runs horizontal on a jet black base so its at right angles to the face you can see..
This might be tricky to cut, so take your time, but it will cut a very nice small black crystal Opal.
If you like the natural look, you can trim this nicely and have a good ring stone.
25 x 18 x 16 mm and a good 30.55 carats.

This I would consider an amber Nobby with purple colour. I would think there is the chance to cut a purple, amber stone.
