This is a large polished piece of polished boulder opal. These are not commonly available as most opal cutters are making smaller pieces for jewellery.
This would make an excellent display/conversation piece, or a touch stone to have on your desk to admire and contemplate. Lots of gemmy opal shines through on this Koroit opal “nut”.
