DENDRITIC OPAL Thistype of opal does not display thosebeautiful flashesof color that opal is famous for, but it does have afantastic pattern of fern-like dendrites made of manganese/iron silicates trapped inside the crystalline structure of the white -colored opal, making this an intriquingand unique gemstone. They form as nodules.The dendritic inclusions, and are shaped like trees with some very interesting patterns.This material was mined in Turkey and the white is a beautiful pearl white colour .We have slabed this material up so it is ready to polish. |
