This rough opal was recently mined by us on the 4 Mile East Pacific opal field of Coober Pedy Australia.

WEIGHT: 94 carats, 18.8 grams or 0 oz 12 dwt (troy) weighed dry.

These are medium to high yield pieces.

These stones should cut around 17-20 carats of light potch backed cabochons or carvings etc, or left as a stunning museum quality specimen.

The color variations in some photos are due to different light angles and distances. All of our auctions are photographed with macro settings under a halogen lamp. In all photo's the opal is immersed.

Please check the dimensions carefully as the opal will not be as big in your hand as it looks on your monitor! Please check the description carefully before bidding and view your purchased rough opal wet in sunlight or in a dark room with a direct light source ie: desk lamp, down light etc. (As photographed and practiced throughout the opal industry).
