FAIRY OPAL
It is natural precious opal embedded in the natural sandstone and mined in Queensland Australia .Only by carbonizing it does it become like black opal. The treatment is usually oil and or sugar with no acid being used and has been treated to show the fire .
Resin finish.
Looks much better in the hand as the colour is hard to pick up by the camera !
Most of this material is jet black
