This is a rub from Coober Pedy that might make a fantastic Opal but Im not certain, therefore this amazing low price.
As you can see it has very broadflash of red, yellow, blue, orange. It is a bit murky on top and it does have a flaw that you could work with or work out. The color looks to be under the dark of the top, it could polish up into a terrific broadflash Opal.
The bodytone is a bit dull, but Im sure when you get down to the color that wont matter.
6.9 carats, 18 x 14 x 4.5mm. It has been rubbed but not by me, by the miner.
