BOULDER PIPE OPAL
STUNNING PAIR
These are natural stones mined in Junda Queensland. It is found in a long cylinder/pipe shapes in the sandstone so there is usually no iron stone present.The host rock is sand stone so you need to spend time on it to get a good polish. These voids may be hollow or filled with opal and some times wood fossil replacement is found. This mine has a mixture of wood fossil and pipe opal found together so there may be some over lapping.
