THIS IS A COLLECTION OF TWO OPAL FOSSILS THAT HAVE BEEN SET IN A SAMPLE OF THERE HOST ROCK FROM LIGHTNING RIDGE.ONE FOSSIL IS A MUSSEL THE OTHER IS A PIECE OF WHAT WE BELIEVE IS FROM SOME TYPE OF VEGETATION..WE HAVE SHOWN THE THIS PIECE TO A PALEONTOLOGIST FROM THE SYDNEY MUSEUM AND THEY ARE NOT SURE WHAT THEY ARE FROM.THSE ARE NATURAL SPECIMENS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN TOUCHED.WE HAVE TAKEN THE PHOTO WET SO YOU CAN SEE THE MARKINGS.TO KEEP THIS APPEARANCE WE RECOMMENED SPRAYING IT WITH HAIR SPRAY TO KEEP A GLOSSY LOOK.THE MUSSEL OPAL IS 25 X 16 MM .THE OTHER PIECE IS 20 X 15 MM . .AS WITH ALL OUR STOCK YOU MAY RETURN IT FOR A FULL REFUND IF NOT PLEASED WITH IT.
