" Boulder Opal " is a rock that contains thin seams and patches of opal surrounded by or attached to its natural host rock. The cutter studies this rock and decides how to cut the best possible gem. That gem might be cut to display seams and patches of precious opal as they appear within their natural host rock.

FREE HOLE DRILLING IF REQUIRED. ( Drilling holes will depend on stone, some stones may not be able to drill as risk of damage maybe high)
Also we use a 100MM Marco Lens, this picks up more details including faults to give you a view on item.
Photos are taken wet to show colours and what stone will look like after being polished.
