OPAL DOUBLET PAIR
This is a quality doublet pair made from natural Coober Pedy crystal opal and mounted on to natural boulder ironstone.This is cut from vertical opal so we call it "rainbow opal' as it all the colours of the rainbow cascading down.It is showing strong firey colours of BLUE GREEN ORANGE RED.
On the field we usually value a doublet to be 10% of a solid stone.
The Australian aboriginies believe opal was formed at the end of a rainbow!
