Sent this piece of rough I picked out special for cutting a super looking faceted stone. Mark Hashnu of New York was the cutter. I have been selling him rough top grade hand picked pieces and he was showing me what he was doing with them and I had to get a few done for this site. I knew you people would at least enjoy seeing something extra special.
This is a clear base color almost water clean. The video was taken shortly after cutting so it may not show full color like the photo’s on a white background and in my hand. If your looking for a truly one of a kind faceted opal of very high quality then you may have found your stone. All facets are 100% accurate as Mark does all the calculations on paper and draws everything before attempting to cut the stone. All meet points are exact and there are no abraded edges on any of the facets. This is not Indian cutting.
