Gawk at my Opals presents a gorgeous Ethiopian Welo 5/5 Precious Neon Celled Honeycomb patterned Hydrophane Opal on one side and a Beautiful Floral Pattern on the other side. This opal is 5/5 in Brightness and flashes all the colors of the spectrum brilliantly. I will be sad to see this one go as it is truly a beauty with its rich saturated colors, beautiful base tone and off the charts brightness. This is one of a very few that are I would considered that very best there is. This opal would look beautiful as a pendant as it is a 360 degree finished opal and every direction is equally a AAAA++++ Opal. This gem weighs 4.13 carats and is being auctioned starting at $1.00 NR. (my husband thinks I am crazy). I cut this about 3 or 4 months ago and the rough has been with me for close to 3 years. I have been putting up my very best that either I have cut or that is in my Private Opal Collection. Matt and I are true opal lovers and will only offer gems that we would want ourselves. All our gems, beads and cabs are all cut from the best quality hand selected Ethiopian Welo Hydrophane Opal Rough which we secure through our mine-direct sources. Matt's faceted gems are considered the very best in the industry especially his custom faceted Welo Opal Gems. You have a rare opportunity to own our precious opals by dealing with us directly. In the past, Matt gems were offered at a much higher cost on OA. Silvana cuts and designs the cabs and bead portion of the store.
