This black crystal nobby stone displays broad dark colour flashes and it’s hard to decide which side is better. I have cut it in such a way that the both sides are cabochoned and the setting edge is right in the middle. It would be a shame not to display both sides of the stone when set either in a ring or a pendant. Burnt red and orange flashes dominate, with some green, yellow and brown present. The colour density is such that you can hardly see through the stone when held up against a light. A very nice gem!
NB: All stones are cut by me in my Sydney studio.
