This is a parcel of natural opal rough mined in lightning ridge. This parcel is usually how we buy it from the miner as most miners now face some of their stock. So you have some mine run material and some gamble un worked rough which is always a chance to get a good stone. And there is also so faced/rubbed material showing some colour. You will get a complete cutting experience here

As with all our rough you may return it for a full refund provided it is rubbed or touched in any way-we suggest you look at it dry with a loop before cutting.
How do we value our rough? - After 30 years experience of rubbing down and cutting thousands of opal we value the rough as what we believe it will cut-However you are dealing with nature so some stones will come out worse than i expect-if you are dissapointed with your experience please let us know so we may be able to rectify it.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a person is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on behalf of the bidder, incrementally increasing the bid up to the maximum to maintain their position as the highest bidder.
