Queen Of Gems was founded in 2000 as an internet based information site. It was bought by Bob an accountant who was introduced to Opals from his Opal miner customers in his accounting practice. Bob has a true passion for Opals. Most of his Opals are Boulder Opals and some Crystal Opals that were purchased from a retired miner. A lot of his Opals are over 20 years old.
