Our Matrix is treated using 3 steps: 1) Sugar bath; 2) Sulphuric acid treatment; and 3) Acid Neutralisation.
You can cut and shape this matrix into stones of your choice, but it may require retreatment afterwards. Rainbow Matrix is similar to fairy opal and is sometimes known as concrete opal.
Rainbow matrix is sold without polish and as such photographs are of wet matrix unless otherwise specified.
