BLACK OPAL MINE RUN PARCEL. This opal rough parcel comes from a mate of mine who collected 100 kilos of rough from seam and knobby country in 12 months of hard mining.They are professional miners and even the black potch they have snipped to make sure there is no stone in there.I had my son take out all the big pieces with no colour. I asked him to snip them and one had a nice stone but there was too much sand in it .it shows that you should look at every piece as with rough you never know. There are some bigger pieces but it looks mainly small stones but very colourful and also some picture stones.There is also some crystal  opal which you can do inlay or make opal doublets.

As with all our rough you may return it for a full refund provided it is rubbed or touched in any way-we suggest you look at it dry with a loop before cutting.

How do we value our rough?? After 30 years experience of rubbing down and cutting thousands of opal we value  the rough as what we believe it will cut-However you are dealing with nature so some stones will come out worse than i expect-if you are dissapointed with your experience please let us know so we may be able to rectify it. NOTE THE MINIUM FREIGHT IS 15$ ON THIS PARCEL DUE TO THE WEIGHT
