Nobby rough from lightning ridge is notoriously hard to cut. Years ago as a young cutter I always wanted to learn how to work with this material but always found it really tough to find smaller parcels that I could afford that weren’t just a bunch of potch. I have a lot of people ask me for smaller parcels of LR rough to get a feel for what it is like to cut without having to invest a huge amount in a decent parcel, so I broke one of my larger parcels up into lots of smaller lots and have posted them here for you. THIS IS NOT BEGINNER MATERIAL. If you are just learning to cut opals I highly suggest either starting somewhere else or being fully prepared to learn the hard way.
With rough opal we are happy to accept returns as long as the opal has not be ground/snippet/altered etc.
Payment required within 48 hours of auction end. If standard shipping is chosen we are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

We ship all items within 24 hours of payment, unless it’s a holiday we will ship on next working day.
Shipping Time:ETA 5-21 working days
Buyer is responsible for any customs/import Duty or taxes levied in the buyers country.
