OPAL EARRINGS

WITH PERIDOT STONE.

This is a doublet opal made from natural crystal from Coober Pedy and backed on to ironstone from Queensland to look like expensive black opal. It also has a beautiful natural peridot stone on top.

The workmanship and quality is excellent.

Peridot is one of the few gemstones that occur in only one color: basically an olive green. The intensity and tint of the green however depends on how much iron is contained in the crystal structure, so the color of individual peridot gems can vary from yellow-green through olive green to brownish green.

Our jewelery manafacturing is contracted out to one factory in asia where i supply  both the silver and stones to be set.This gives me control of  the quality of both the silver and stones.

Note .we have taken the picture with a Nikon coolpix 4500  camera which captures a purple tone in the stone which our eyes cant see.This is a predominate blue stone.
