MEXICAN OPALS ARE WATERPROOF.

I make this distinction because it is important: Unlike African Opals, Mexican Opals can be wet without danger of color loss or risk to structural integrity. 

Please note that I make an effort to provide the most accurate Video of the opals. Notice the color of my fingers is 100% natural. (This is a sign of accuracy) I intend for you to consider the Opal in your hand nicer than the one you see in the video.
