Folks here is the most rare, magnificent collection of Plesiosaur bones that you are likely to see offered for sale in your lifetime.
A total of 86 bones, 48 ounces in all, found in the one pocket so likely to be from the one creature. All shapes and sizes, many different types of bones.
This is a very serious collection for the serious collector. Any Museum in the world would be honoured to have such a display in their collection.
The pics speak for themselves. The color is amazing as is the preserved detail in these specimens. The pictures for once, have been taken indoors. The risk of taking this collection outside is too great.
100 Million years old.
This collection is unable to be split and the price is firm.
At less than $1200 per ounce, the price is extremely reasonable for such items.
Should you wish to purchase this collection and donate it to your local Museum, I am sure there is a tax deduction of more than $100,000 for those living in the USA.
I do not think there is a better collection of Plesiosaur bones outside of the South Australian Museum.
