FAIRY OPAL BEADS
This is a parcel of opal that is in the sandstone found on the boulder opal fields in Queensland.It has been treated to appear like black opal by being carbonized.
The polish is excellent.

Size is of the largest
This is a natural stone found on the opal fields in Queensland .It is precious opal embedded in the sandstone.Only by heating it with sugar does it become like black opal.This treatment is permant and goes all through the stone.
