Wood Fossil opal Pendants are a unique combination of opal forming with timber wood or vegetation matter so you will have pendant that is very rare. It is part opal and part fossil combined into one stone and made into your pendant.
Some pendants will display more opal colours and these are the most expensive, but some will display more wood fossil and these patterns can be unique and very interesting to view. Many will have timber fingerprint patterns of decaying cells fossilized.
This opal is only found in small areas of Queensland and in small pockets so they are not available in massive quantities as it’s rare to form opal and fossil as one. Wood fossil pendants are hand made into free form shape to expose the pattern and colour. The silver bezel edge helps protect the opal pendant
