I bought a parcel of Mintabie Gem Black Opal some time ago, before this years massive 50% increase on the field price of Black Opal and I am pleased to offer it to you starting today.
I have broken up the parcel into individual pieces but have not upped the price for doing so, as is my custom. If you ever went to a miner or dealer and wanted to pick a parcel, you would pay at least 25% more for that piece because you would have picked the best peice on the table. As a rule. parcels are not split until well down the ladder, so they cost even more but not here at Kangaroo Opals. I cut out all the middlemen so my per carat price for the quality cant be beaten. Each cut many times per ct what you paid.
This is very good Opal. You cant just walk into a shop and ask for a piece of this material. It was mined long ago and has super bright gem color with little waste. I have used this same preamble with all the stones in this parcel so you can recognise them. They will make good cabs or pendants IMHO. I do hope to get videos up as time allows.
This Gem is another with what I call bubble gum colors. Very rich deep reds and blues in this stone. I can see one cab in that red bulge at least and there is more color in it, so it could make a great freeform pendant too.
This piece measures 28 x 18 x 8 mm and weighs 26 carats,

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
