Gawk at my Opals presents a true opal lover's dream. Matt Dunkle my partner custom cuts all the faceted Ethiopian Welo Opal into true Museum Quality Ultra Gems. We both are true opal fanatics. Through our collaborative effort, we will showcase the most beautifully faceted Ethiopian OPals that will rival the top gemstones of the world. We feel that we have accomplished without hesitation.
We use only the highest grade AAA+++Ethiopian Welo Crystal Opals that have passed our stability tests. We in no way treat or stabilize the rough other than to pre-soak in water to look for stress cracks and potential problems. We sift through thousand of grams of rough for both our faceted gems and all my opal gems beads that I have designed or manufacture. We purchased our facet rough either directly from Addis Ababa mine-direct or from their top associates in the US.
I am a true Opal collector with a very extensive faceted opal collection. I work with Matt to produce gems that I would own and not for a quick sale. Matt's gems have been featured on OA in the past for many thousands of dollars per stone. Since we are able to sell to you directly, we are able to significantly reduce the price but still give you the Museum Quality Gems that only a few can truly cut.
We offer all our gems to you wholesale and with the option to purchase a 14kt gold custom made setting to compliment the opal in most cases.
Today, I am pleased to offer at 1 NR an Andamooka Tear Drop that comes out of my private collection that is 5/5 and spectacular in every sense of the word. I purchased this from Exotic Opal several years ago outright and anything under $1,000 is my loss. As many of you know, I am awaiting a heart transplant and need to liquidate my business as I have to tend to my astronomical medical bills. Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
