FOSSIL GEM DOUBLET
This is a grade A doublet made from a Coober Pedy fossil and mounted on to natural boulder ironstone.Millions of years ago Australias out back was covered in a inland sea.These stones are a part of the skin of a shell fossil that was opalized.The shell is from the cretaceous period over 100 million years ago.The stones follows the contours of the shell so they are undulating.Showing strong firey colours of BLUE GREEN ORANGE RED BUT MAINLY BLUE GREEN ORANGE FIRE.
