Beautiful Pair Green Crystal 3 Carats

Folks here is a lovely pair of Lighting Ridge Opals that are a non matching pair.
The color is superb, I think they suit a ring, you dont often see rings with two Opals in them nowdays and these
would be prefect. ladies in the 70s would have what I describe as a double stacked ring, one above and behind the other, set in fine gold kida wirey tye setting. a lot were engagement rings. But they take a lot of work now and time and its hard to find matching Opals.
I have no doubt that 50% of the best Opals ever mined have been lost over time. They just vanished from Australia. I dont know if everything pre 1980 was lost, resold overseas or sold off as individual Opals, but it does make you wonder. They just dont turn up like all other gems and rings do.
You could also set one as a ring and the other as a pendant, it is up to you.
13 x 4 x 2.5mm 1 carat is the long one.
12 x 7 x 2mm 2 carats is the D shaped one.
All I can see here is the richest brightest green I have seen in pure crystal for a long time.
These have been cut and poished and are ready to set as is.
Very bright, very beautiful.
I will split these for $1200 each.
