Brazilian opals are rare and have spent years forgotten in the international market. The great Australian Pathfinders of Brazil in the 70's and 80's left a legacy, taught Brazilian miners to prospect, mine and polish our opals.
Brazilian opals have a great advantage because of their formation 60 million years ago during Cretaceous in clays and diabasio; This formation gives our opals up to 7.0 mohs.
In this item a batch of four buds from our last harvest, part of a large batch of alluvium opals.
