Solid Black Opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia. Cut, polished, ready to set into jewellery. The opal was mined in Mulga, which is an area mined in the Lightning Ridge area located near Grawin. The gem weighs 1.20 carats, and has 12.00mm length, 8.36mm width, and 2.00mm depth. The opal has n5 body tone with high brightness and low dome. The gem has a stunning broadflash/flagstone/ribbon pattern with all the colours of the spectrum. It will make the perfect ring or pendant.
