This is a clean pre shaped piece of rough mined in Mintiabe South Australia.It has no sand in the face and they will yield very high.These pieces came from a large parcel which was found near the airport recently. This field is known for its hard opal with dark bases.The colour is a bit distant and with this material you have to make sure you rub lightly so you dont rub the colour bar away.These will be interesting pieces to cut.
We have taken the picture with the stones wet.
