KOROIT OPAL PENDANT
This is a natural stone from the koroit field in Queensland boulder country.This field is known for its rich chocolate ironstone with precious opal embedded in it. The stone is enhanced with a natural Peridot on top.
The workmanship and quality is excellent.
Stamped 925
Weight of stone and silver 55 cts.
Weight of stone: 31.45 cts.
Weight of silver: 4.71 grams.
Size opal 25 x 19 mm app
Lenght of pendant: 48 mm app.
Peridot is one of the few gemstones that occur in only one color: basically an olive green. The intensity and tint of the green however depends on how much iron is contained in the crystal structure, so the color of individual peridot gems can vary from yellow-green through olive green to brownish green.
Our jewelery manafacturing is contracted out to one factory in asia where i supply both the silver and stones to be set.This gives me control of the quality of both the silver and stones.
