SEDA ROUGH OPALS
PRE SHAPED RUB
This is a natural piece of opal rough that has rubbed to expose the colour .It is pre shaped and ready for polishing.In the centre was a piece of sand which fell out-it would be interesting to dremel this stone.
Mined in Lightning Ridge.
This is a pre shaped rub direct from the miner-it is gem quality but needs a experienced cutter or it can be polished as a specimen. . i bought it from 4 miners who do “pillar bashing” this is where they go to a old mine and take out the support pillars which is very dangerous work
