This is a good quality Opal with decent color play. This Opal was cut thin, making the surface area of the stone large.
The color play on this stone isn’t incredibly bright, but it gives off a lot of color when rotated at various angles. So the stone has a nice face up view, but also has good color from various angles.
I took pictures of this Opal in high magnification and full sunlight to give you the best idea of its color play and quality. As a certified gemologist I can verify that the above description is accurate and that this Opal/Opals have been tested in the gem lab to verify identity and natural origin.
