DESCRIPTION: High quality Ethiopian Welo rough. Rare and natural black skinned, blue base rough. Five pieces for a total carat weight of 32.81ct. Small cutters or fantastic specimen opals…pure eyecandy :). Largest stone for comparison value is 23x12x11mm. No cracks noted under back-light magnification (picture).

COMMENT: Saturated play-of-color
Hand selected rare quality rough…natural and untreated. I use special full spectrum lights to closely reflect full sunlight color and brightness in the pictures and video. All Images of opal rough are taken dry…this is the only honest way to depict the Ethiopian Hydrophane opal in it’s natural useful state to the potential buyer who might want to cut the opal in the future.
In my listings, “BRILLIANT” is a 5/5 brightness indoors and outside in direct sunlight. “VERY BRIGHT” is 4.5/5 indoors and 5/5 outside. “BRIGHT” is 4/5 indoors and 5/5 outside. “AVERAGE BRIGHTNESS” is 3.5 indoors and 4+ outside.
