SEDA ROUGH OPALS
YOWAH ROUGH
This is a natural yowah rough stone that the
precious opal is embedded in the host
ironstone/sandstone rock. This material may have natural holes in it and
the sandy areas can be hard to polish. You may polish them as natural stones .Or
in asia the cutters rub fine boulder ironstone [you can collect this in the
cutting machine tray by grinding some material away and allow to dry]. They
then rub this powder in to the pits in the rough and heat it up. Then they
apply super glue/opticon to it and polish. This gives a good glossy finish.
This stone was mined over 40 years ago in Yowah by a old miner called Ted! He came to the ridge in 1953 and mined in yowah in the 70s. These stones were from his collection that i saw many years ago. He is now mining in the ridge and is down on his luck so i bought these from him to help him. I may have been a bit generous to him but they are quality stones.! Im sure you will be pleased with them.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
