First image was taken in 1990 at famous Hilton hotel Pub in sheepyards 1/12 hour drive from Lightning Ridge.
The Pub consisting of tin shed had incredible volume of beer sales
Estela with our boys Jason n mark are standing beside cans rubbish bin of thousands beer and few soft drink cans.
The council later made them remove these cans as they were full of deadly red back spiders and few poisonous brown snakes.

Middle image is of our head quarters for several years..
The camp was owned by mate Bob Young and for several years we camped at this site, freezing in winter and boiling hot at night.
On right is Patrick who runs Rollinstones opals and was taken around 2000

Last image is of Peter who runs Peters Opals at a tailout at Ridge.
Ex cement mixers are used to wash the dirt and expose opal colour ,if there is any!
