Regarding auction id #164752, the inlay rough. It is really hard to get a true picture of what is there. Approximately how many pieces are in this parcel? And, in your estimation are there at least 20 pieces that could become nice doublet stones. Thanks, Lee Zimmerman (Opalee1)

Hi John- I didn't mean for you to go through the trouble of counting every single stone. A guesstimate would have been fine. If the stones average 1 carat, there should be roughly 160 stones. If they average closer to 2 carats, there should be 80-100. A big piece for an inlay or doublet would be a few carats. A usable piece could be something less than a carat. While your looking over the parcel could you pick out the largest piece (by eye is fine) and give a me a measurement of the area (example: 20x10x2)? From that I can look at the picture and take an educated guess at which one that is and how large many of the others are. Thanks, Lee

Hi Again these are pre cleaned flats ready for doublets or inlay and around 160 stones. some good color would jump out for a black backround. This was a mine bought parcel to just turn over. Thanks John H
