Hi Patrik! Happy New Year!!! I will be making a black opal necklace. I think (and I hope others think) that they are more beautiful in their surrounding matrix. If you come across other opals like this one that are good to drill as a bead would you let me know? -not in too-crumbly sandstone, nicely centered precious opal in interesting formation, especially if it shows how opal formed.
