TEKTIES ARE MANILY FOUND IN AUSTRALIA AND South east asia Where as meteorites are found worldwide Tektites are mainly black,some green are called moldavites.they are all natural glass and many strange pits on them and have been aged up to 35 millions years old by radiometric means . Scientists think tektites may be rock melted when meteorite has blasted into the moon or earth or as a result of volcanic activity and believe that tektites fly thru the atmosphere in liquid state,some spin and make these unusual shapes .
