THIS IS A NATURAL OPALISED SHELL SPECIMEN FROM THE COOBER PEDY OPAL FIELDS .SHELL SHOWS GOOD COLOURS BLUE GREEN FIRE WE HAVE TAKEN THE PICTURES WET EXCELLENT SPECIMENT CAN BE CUT BUT WE FEEL THIS WOULD BE A SHAME AS RARE TO FIND ON THE FIELD TOTAL WEIGHT OF SHELL IS 65 CTS APP SIZE 34 X 25 X 15 APP Peter's Story I HAVE BEEN MINING AT LIGHTNING RIDGE SINCE 1993. I USED TO COME TO THE RIDGE AS A YOUNG BOY AND VISIT MY DAD MINING HERE.I THEN CAUGHT THE OPAL BUG.I SPENT SOME TIME IN COOPER PEDY AND I AM OFFERING MY STOCK HERE.I AM NOW BASED AT THE RIDGE SO I CAN SHIP MY STOCK WITH SEDA OPALS WHICH IS RUN BY MY DAD.WE BOTH HAVE THE SAME INITALS [PAUL AND PETER] SO WE CAN ACCEPT CHEQUES MADE OUT TO P SEDAWIE.
